Congratulations and well done to Karen Moore, the entire Theatre Play Shop Class and all of the staff who worked so hard on The Best Christmas Pageant Ever. Another great performance in the books. Look for photos in the big room and a DVD soon.

Fall Parent Conferences: Monday and Tuesday

We are looking forward to hosting the fall parent conferences on Monday and Tuesday. A few details to note:

Holiday Book Fair – Books make great gifts! The library team have curated a wonderful selection of new children’s books that will be for sale in the big room during conferences. Proceeds from the book fair go toward the purchase of new books for the library. Students browse the fair and create a wishlist which will be available to you as a guide while you shop.
Nourish Kitchen – The food truck will be open during conferences. We are happy to offer free coffee and tea to all parents in addition to a full selection of tasty eats for purchase. There will also be $1 OFF coupons available outside the office that you can redeem for breakfast wraps, smoothies, lunches and snacks during conference days! A small gift of *thanks* from the Nourish Team.
Lost and Found – Please take a look at our massive Lost and Found collection when you are at school for your conference.

Thanksgiving Celebration & JBP Play – Friday, November 22nd at 2:00PM

The Jelly Bean Players class is ready to celebrate Thanksgiving with a short skit. Thanksgiving at Our House will be performed in the Karen Joy Theatre, Friday, November 22nd at 2:00PM. After the play, parents are invited to join their children in their morning meeting classroom. There will be pie! Everyone is invited!

Portrait Day Prints

Your prints from picture day are complete and will be distributed Friday, November 22nd!

RETAKE PORTRAITS ARE COMPLETE

Retake portraits are complete and online for you to view and order. You should have received an email with a link to your gallery earlier this week. Our parent photographer, Chris Belli, Dad of Leo, Alexa and Vara, kindly donates a portion of each sale back to Upland Hills School. Harvest Store is a student-run market selling organic vegetables from the garden. Stop by anytime to get your fresh, local veggies! The store is located in the school entryway.

The 3rd Annual UHS Pallet Party Fundraiser – Saturday November 23rd, 2019 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm.

This year our hosts, Betsy and Dominic Lanzotti will guide you through the building process to make fall pumpkins and winter trees. Take these handcrafted decorations home for the holidays or give them as gifts. All proceeds benefit Upland Hills School. Join us for a crafty and fun evening at school! Cost is $125: includes all the supplies to make two decorations, plus adult refreshments & snacks. Register with Terry and don’t forget to include the two items (2 trees, 2 pumpkins, or 1 of each).
