South Oakland Shelter
Friday morning is the last chance to deliver items to school for contribution to the SOS. Thank you to everyone that has donated so far! As a reminder this is a tradition started by our long time teacher, Ted. In lieu of gifts to our staff, parents are asked to please consider a donation to South Oakland Shelter. This year the shelter is requesting the following items: diapers (larger sizes), socks and underwear for adults and children, toilet paper and paper towels, toothbrushes and toothpaste, laundry detergent and Peanut Butter and Jelly. You can leave your contribution in the big room at school any day through next Friday. Thank you in advance for your contributions.

Lost and Found
Please swing by the Lost & Found on the front porch. Gloves and snow pants and socks! Oh my! We’ll clear it out and donate what we can tomorrow some things have been in there for a few months (flip flops!) and since spring (boggs).
Ted Braude 4 Session Parent Workshop – Tuesdays at 5:30 pm
January 15th & 22th and February 5th &12th
The response to “Family Matters: Power, Conflict and Love in Parent/Child Relationships” was so enthusiastic, Upland Hills School is bringing Ted Braude back for a four session program. Did you want more time with Ted after participating in the Power, Conflict and Love presentation? Do you want a second chance if you missed him in November? Do you want the opportunity to focus on your family situation and get practical, immediately do-able practices that result in real change for the better? “Power, Conflict and Love: A Program for Parents of Children of All Ages” is to support parents in the UHS community gaining as much value from Ted as they possibly can. Come discover and develop the simple, profound dynamics of power, conflict and love for the good of the children, for the good of the parents, for the good of all. This workshop is open to the public, feel free to share with friends & family. The cost of the 4 session workshop is – Individuals: $170.00 Couples: $200.00

Megan’s Group Toy Store
Megan’s Group is proud to announce that our community collectively raised $275.95 at the Toy Store this year. The funds will be distributed through Oakland Livingston Human Service Agency to help Oakland County residents in need heat their homes this winter. Thank you to everyone who participated and was able to do some holiday shopping!

Theater Play Shop CD’s are in!
We have CD’s available from last spring’s production of Alice and from the fall production of Emmet Otter’s Jug Band Christmas. $10 each, available in the office.
